The Learning Environment
We believe that children need an inviting and stimulating learning environment. We have resourced our nursery to cover all 7 areas of the Early Years curriculum and it has been developed into learning zones. Here are just a few of them for you to see:
The children have access to an outdoor area and have loved exploring all our new equipment; climbing, jumping, balancing and exploring.
What is important to us?
Happiness and Friendships
Your child’s happiness is of key importance to us. We believe that every child deserves the best start. It is vital they feel safe, secure and happy. Within our nursery we expect our staff to put our children first. Their safety, welfare and ongoing development is the most important part of our role. We offer a consistent and nurturing environment for your child where we help provide them with the skills to form friendships.
We encourage the children's imaginative little minds to develop to their full potential by providing a variety of creative and imaginative activities, even if we do end up getting very messy!
We believe that learning needs to be fun and exciting. We have a play-based curriculum that meets the needs of all the children. Through observation and informal assessment of the children we understand your child’s next steps. With the help of their key worker and qualified class teacher, we will help them to reach their full potential.
